Day 8 - Metallic

Yes, count yourself lucky! I'm posting twice in one day! I did today's mani after work so I could post pics tonight.  The theme is metallic which is fairly vague...there are a lot of colors that are shiny and look reflective.  I chose an Orly polish that I picked up at one of my recent hauls from Ulta here in Tuscaloosa.  I swear, that place will be the death of my bank account.  It's both a blessing and a curse. I have found some really good deals there [glitter top coat from Day 6 was marked down to $2. I know, right?!]  Anyway, the color is called Rage by Orly.  See what you think...

I've got that close-up perfected! Well, it may not look perfect, but I'm working on it.  The color looks more gold in these inside flash pictures but it's really a pink metallic.  It's pretty shiny under the flash but is more subdued in natural light.

Yeah, I'm not sure why it's called Rage either.  It's pink for crying out loud.  Nothing to get mad about.  It's actually a really pretty color.  Here is the evening sunlight photos...

You can def see the polish is more pink now.

Close-up of that pointer.

Pretty in pink.
Then, just because I didn't get a chance to change the polish yesterday afternoon, I had to fiddle with this one a little more tonight.  So I stamped!

I stamped little hearts using a Bundle Monster plate and Konad Special Black polish.

I had to hide my thumb in this pic because I continually get black polish all over myself when stamping.
It's really difficult to get off when you don't want to mess up your lovely nails.

Super close shot of the better two nails.

Such a cute stamp.  It showed up really well on this polish.
A nail-covering design stamped w/black over this polish would probably look good too...
Project for later!

It was full dark outside so inside flash pics are what we live with.
Hope y'all enjoyed this day! Tomorrow will be a little bit of a bigger challenge because I'm not really sure how I want to approach the rainbow concept.  We'll see. Have a great night and RTR!
